Three boys drown in rivulet in Karnataka's Udupi

Udupi: Three boys drowned in a rivulet near Hebri on Friday afternoon.

Police said that 12 students had skipped their classes and had decided to go to Koragajja temple at Shivapura near Hebri. Before this, they went to have a bath at Batradi Hole rivulet.

While the others were having a bath at the riverbank, Sudarshan, and Sonish who went a little farther drowned in the water. Kiran who saw them drowning went to save them. But all three drowned. The dead body of all three was retrieved with the help of local swimmers, police, and fire officials.

An Unnatural Death Report has been registered at Hebri Police Station.
