Chennai: School Education Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan on Friday said that the state government would soon bring teachers from Britain and Germany to give English coaching to the class 9 students of government schools in order to elevate their communication skills.
While speaking to reporters after the inauguration of welfare schemes at Sathyamangalam in Erode district he said,
“Over 60,000 students will get English coaching for six months to make them fluent in the English language to assure them a promising future.” He further said the training will enable the government school students to speak English on par with private school students.
