Nipah virus: Kerala High Court seeks info on measures taken by government

The HC observed that it is a serious issue and needs intervention by the government.

Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Thursday asked the State Government to submit the measures it took to prevent rumours with regard to Nipah virus from spreading, by Monday.

The direction was given on a petition pleading to restrain rumours in social media and by people like Jacob Vadakkum-cherry and Mohanan Vaidyar. The HC observed that it is a serious issue and needs intervention by the government.
