Mysuru: Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture, and Hassan district in-charge minister, Mr A Manju took officials of Harangi canal subdivision who come under the Irrigation department to task at a review meeting at the reservoir premises in Somvarpet taluk in Kodagu district on Tuesday.
He said, "Are you grazing cattle? If you can’t work, please go home (resign). The curse of farmers will be on you. Government work is God's work. If you don't execute developmental works properly, will you die a good death?,” Mr Manju wondered. He added, “Officers who come to work just to idle away their time, should be suspended.”
