AAP bid to rope in TV editor Rajdeep Sardesai, Nana Patekar

Nana Patekar has become a real-life hero for helping debt-ridden farmers.

NEW DELHI: Speculation is rife in political circles that the Aam Aadmi Party might rope in veteran actor Nana Patekar for restructuring its Maharashtra unit and to reach out to the maximum number of people in the saffron-led state.

Mr Patekar has become a real-life hero for helping debt-ridden farmers. There are also rumours that the AAP is considering TV editor Rajdeep Sardesai as its chief ministerial candidate in next year’s Goa Assembly elections. The third name doing the rounds for AAP’s chief ministerial candidate for Gujarat is of former BJP legislator Kanu Kalsariya, a gynaecologist, who joined the party in January 2014.
