Aam Aadmi Party, Jana Chaitanya Vedika start Save Andhra Pradesh' meets

The meetings will be organised in the remaining districts in the coming days,

Vijayawada: The Jana Chaitanya Vedika, along with Aam Aadmi Party and like-minded organisations will organise “Save Andhra Pradesh” meeting in all the 13 districts of the state with the aim of creating awareness among the people about the corruption taking place under Telugu Desam rule, and the failure of the government to curb irregularities.

Jana Chaitanya Vedika state president V. Lakshmana Reddy and AAP state secretary T. Seva Kumar said that the Save AP meetings have already started across the state with the last one recently held in Tirupati. “The meetings will be organised in the remaining districts in the coming days,” Mr Lakshmana Reddy said.

They said that the former chief secretaries I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and Ajay Kallam, former MP Vundavalli Aruna Kumar, eminent personalities like C. Anjaneya Reddy and Justice P. Lakshman Reddy and others will participate in the meetings.

They alleged that the state stood in 10th place when it came to growth of population but at 27th place in human resource development. They said that AP secured top position in unemployment and 32nd place in literacy in the country.

They said that ‘Save AP’ meetings will create awareness about corruption and irregularities among the masses.
