Narendra Modi's veiled comment on Samajwadi Party infighting

Modi said that Samajwadi Party and BSP had no plans for the development of Uttar Pradesh.

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a veiled reference to the infighting in the Samajwadi Party on Monday when he said at a public function that on the one hand there are people who want to save their family and, on the other, there are those who are willing to grab power at all costs.

He said that these two parties had no plans for the development of Uttar Pradesh while the BJP wanted to serve the people and turn the state into an ideal state.

He asked people that backwardness of Bundelkhand could be removed if the people decided to break the SP-BSP cycle and voted for the BJP. The Prime Minister said that he would turn Uttar Pradesh into ‘Uttam’ Pradesh if given a time of ten years.
