Residential sites identified for 816 rain-hit families of Kodagu

According to Kodagu district administration sources, they have identified sites near to the respective villages of the beneficiaries for the purpose.

Mysuru: There is a reason to smile for 816 families who lost their homes during the recent floods and landslides and ended up at relief centres in Kodagu with the district administration identifying sites to build houses for them. According to Kodagu district administration sources, they have identified sites near to the respective villages of the beneficiaries for the purpose. Four acres of land has been identified at Karnageri, where sites will be provided to 13 families of Karnangeri, one family of Hachchinaadu, 9 families of Hodakaana and 43 families of Madikeri.

In K Nidugade, five acres of land has been identified where sites will be given to 22 families of Kaalur. At Gaalibeedu gram panchayat, seven acres of land has been identified to provide sites to 90 families of Hebbetgeri. At Gaalibeedu, 13 acres of land has been identified to provide sites to 10 families of K Nidugade,19 families of Gaalibeedu, 26 families of Niduvattu, two families of Baari bellachchu, 9 families of 1st Monnangeri. At Madhe, 10 acres of land has been identified for 188 families of 2nd Mannangeri and 79 families of Madhe.

And in Sampaje, one and a half acres of land has been identified to provide sites to four families. At Biligeri, 1.88 acres of land has been identified to provide sites to 10 families of Eravanaadu. In Jambooru, 50 acres of land has been identified to provide sites to 99 families of Makkanduru, 39 families of Emmethaalu, 9 families of Mukkodlu and 26 families of Megaththaalu. Also at Jumbooru in Somwarpet taluk, sites have been identified for 2 families of Chaudlu, six families of Kiranganduru, four families of Belooru, three families of Hanagalul and one family of Nerugalale.
