HYDERABAD: TPCC Chief Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Minister of Information Technology (IT) Mr Nara Lokesh were amongst the twitterati who wished ‘Celebrity Politician’ Minister K.T. Rama Rao on his 42nd birthday. Mr Reddy wished KTR “good health and a long life”. Mr Rama Rao tweeted back, thanking him and said that it was “Kind of you to greet”. When a user from Siriclla tweeted a tattoo reading “KTR”, the minister pointed out that it was a bad idea.
Many parents shot small videos of their kids wishing Mr Rama Rao. Mr. Rama Rao also received wishes from his followers from neighbouring states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and also from New Delhi. His wall also included tweets from his followers who had planted saplings and donated blood at various blood donation camps across Telangana on his birthday. Madhapur Corporator Mr Jagadeeshwar Goud who propagates cycling on Sundays in the IT corridor, headed to TRS Bhavan on a bicycle to wish Mr Rama Rao.
Omar Abdullah, Former CM, Jammu & Kashmir, Rohan Khaunte, IT Minister from Goa were a few political leaders who wished Minister Rama Rao on his birthday.
Celebrities from the film fraternity also extended their greetings to the Minister on Twitter. These included actors Vivek Oberoi, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan Nani, Lakshmi Manchu, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji and directors Vamshi Paidipally, Meher Ramesh, Kona Venkat, Harish Shankar and Gopichand Malineni among others.
