Bengaluru: Nothwithstanding their claim that they would discuss the portfolio allocation issue only after the floor test, leaders in the JD(S) and Congress seem to be scrambling for cabinet berths and good portfolios. Though the portfolios were not allocated as yet, it is believed that Mr Kumaraswamy may keep the finance and his deputy Dr Parameshwara may get home. Siddaramaiah has been pushing for key portfolios for K.J. George and S.R. Patil. He is reportedly not keen on pushing M.B. Patil for any big portfolio.
