Hyderabad: A most wanted criminal, who went absconding after PD Act was invoked on him, has been nabbed by the East Zone Task Force team on Friday.
The 45-year-old was involved in various cases of snatching, cell phone thefts, pick pocketing and was also booked under the Arms Act.
The man was identified as Mohammed Mansoor alias Kala Kava alias Deva, an auto driver by profession and is a resident of Errakunta of Balapur.
“So far, he has been involved in more than 32 cases in Hyderabad police commissionerate limits. Earlier in 2015, he was detained under the PD Act by Chandrayangutta police and arrested in December 2017, for 10 cell phone theft cases pertaining to Afzalgunj, Chaderghat, Charminar and Malakpet police station,” said the additional DCP, Commissioner’s Task Force, S. Chaitanya Kumar.
Acting on a tip off, the Task Force apprehended him on Friday and handed him over to Afzalgunj police for investigation.
