Kamineni Srinivas welcomes decision of CBI court

The minister said 115 CHCs would be brought under the new sanitation policy.

Vijayawada: Health minister Kamineni Srinivas welcomed the court’s decision dismissing YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy's plea on exemption to attend CBI court once in a week. Speaking to mediapersons at the Secretariat on Monday, the minister said 115 CHCs would be brought under the new sanitation policy and that tenders would be called to establish 14 new dialysis centres in the state.

He interacted with the HODs and nodal officers on the performance of the CM’s health centres, Chandranna mobile health services, NTR medical services, Aarogya Raksha and dialysis units. He said dengue cases reported from across the state this year is more when compared to last year and that dengue is prevalent in urban areas previous year and are more in urban areas and malaria cases are reduced.

Mr Kamineni told the anthrax cases reported in Anantapur aren't dangerous, Cutonious anthrax is a skin disease. He also instructed the official to give vaccine for cattle. 21.52 Lakh mosquito nets will be distributed on Tuesday in Vambey colony in Vijayawada. The minister expressed his happiness on accelerated works of AIMS hospital in Mangalagiri.
