Hyderabad: Only 10 kg of baggage can be carried into the Metro Rail premises according to L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited. The baggage should measure 60 cm by 45 cm by 25 cm. L&T MRHL said there would be no paper tickets and smart cards would be available online and at the ticket kiosks on the concourse. The smart cards can be recharged online as well as at the kiosks. However, the smart cards are not available online. Those who are not regular travellers can make use of tokens. Entry for children less than 90 cm or 3 feet in height is free, passengers have to keep children close by while crossing the entry and exit gates.
At the platform, L&TMRL officials stated that they will guide the people to form queues. Passengers will have to be allowed to exit the train first before boarding begins. Staff and security personnel will ensure that passengers can enter the trains before the doors close, and see to it that there is no pushing and shoving.
