Complaint against BJP netas for abusing CM H D Kumaraswamy

The complaint stated that BJP leaders under the pretext of holding a protest were using unparliamentary language.

Bengaluru: A day after the state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party lodged a complaint with Director General of Police Neelamani N. Raju accusing Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy of sedition, JD(S) leaders met city Police Commissioner T. Suneel Kumar on Saturday and filed a complaint against BJP leaders for calling Mr Kumaraswamy a ‘Naxalite’.

The complaint stated that BJP leaders under the pretext of holding a protest were using unparliamentary language. “BJP leaders R. Ashok, Basavaraj Patil Yatnal, Renukacharya, Shobha Karandlaje and Ravi Kumar have called Mr Kumarswamy a ‘Naxalite’. They are trying to disturb law and order situation in the state,” the complaint stated.

Janata Dal (Secular) leaders have sought action against BJP leaders for their remarks against Chief Minister. It may be recalled that BJP MLA from Vijayapura Basavaraj Patil Yatnal while interacting with the media had called Mr Kumarswamy ‘urban Naxal’. He was reacting to the Chief Minister’s earlier remark that he would be “forced to ask people to revolt against the BJP if it continues to try and destabilise his government”.
