CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Mr. Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Thursday greeted the 'Arjuna' awardee Bhaskaran. He wrote a letter to body builder Bhaskaran in which Chief Minister took pride that Bhaskaran from the state received gold medal in the 19th Mr. Universe Competition held in Thailand and also won a gold medal in Mr. Asia Competition to create a new record.
In this backdrop, the Government of India announced the Arjuna award to Bhaskaran to encourage him to achieve greater heights in future.
"I am happy about that. This award brings laurels to both the nation and Tamil Nadu. I wish you on behalf of myself and Tamil Nadu people. I wish you to make many more records and to get many more awards," said Mr. Palaniswami in his message.
