Telangana TD vows jobs to martyrs' family

The party also promised to create one lakh jobs in the state if voted to power.

Hyderabad: The Telangana TD has announced that it would provide a job to one member from the families of 1,200 Telangana martyrs besides a residential plot and Rs 10 lakh financial aid after coming into power in 2018 elections in the state.

Telangana TD president L. Ramana and senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, while releasing the party’s manifesto for the Telangana Assembly elections, said that after coming into power they would turn Pragati Bhavan into a general hospital. The party also promised to create one lakh jobs in the state if voted to power.

The party also promised to give a grant of '3,000 to each unemployed youth and '2000 pension to people with disabilities, senior citizens and widowed women.

The manifesto also stated that it would spend '15,000 crore annually on improving the health and nutrition of pregnant women. Free bicycles for students from Class 8 to 12, renovation of Dharna Chowk, free laptops for students pursuing Intermediate and other studies, 5,000 crore for government hospitals, implementation of SC/ST sub-plan as well as BC and minority sub plan.

The TD leaders also promised a stadium in every constituency to encourage sports activities of youth and children.
