TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal tells barbers to stop harassing devotees

The official directed CVSO to act fast on complaints at Kalyana Katta.

TIRUPATI: TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Monday directed officials of Kalyana Kata (tonsuring centre) at Tirumala to act immediately on complaints from devotees and ensure that barbers provide hassle free services. The official directed CVSO to act fast on complaints at Kalyana Katta. He advised Engineering staff to complete all road works and instructed Health department to streamline solid and wet waste clearance.

Addressing the review meeting at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday, TTD EO directed officials to put up sign boards and flexis on the walkers path, to educate the devotees on time slot system in the Divya darshan mode. He also advised the Tirupati JEO Pola Bhaskar to strengthen the Call centre to address complaints of devotees. He also wanted the PRO to gather feed back from the walkers on their grievances through Srivari Sevaks.

The EO urged the engineering department to complete all the repair works and make the roads in Tirumala hurdle free. "Operate all the key five departments on e-office to speed up decision making and also implementations" he said. The EO also wanted the health department to survey and execute timely plans to eliminate cockroach and fly menace at Tirumala ahead of the annual Brahmotsavams. Speed up the tender process to remove solid waste in Tirumala, he advised the engineering and health department.
