Hyderabad: In a first, a baby feeding room has been set up for at the Madhapur bus stop which is all set to be inaugurated on Tuesday. Touted to be a passenger-friendly bus stop, commuters waiting for their buses at Madhapur also have access to a coffee shop, snacks vending machine and toilets. Fully air-conditioned, the bus stop opposite Shilparamam, also has a provision for growing greenery.
IT minister K.T. Rama Rao had said that as part of the upgradation of bus stops, 826 bus shelters categorised into four grades will be set up based on the amenities provided. Madhapur bus stop is falls in Grade 1 category.
Madhapur corporator Jagadeeswar Goud said, “This is a first of its kind bus stop with international standards in the country.” Mr Rama Rao will inaugurate the Madhapur bus stop on Tuesday.
