ESL Narasimhan has a good word for GHMC

The call centre forwarded the complaint to the GHMC control room and Madhapur police station.

Hyderabad: The GHMC got a pat from Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan for its emergency relief operations following Friday’s storm in the city. Mr Narasimhan was among those who had called up the GHMC emergency wing 100 and 2 11 11 11 11. The Governor had complained of a tree fall in Madhapur.

The call centre forwarded the complaint to the GHMC control room and Madhapur police station. The tree was quickly cleared by the emergency team. After two hours, the Governor called the Madhapur police inspector to enquire about the status of his complaint.

The police informed the Governor that the tree had been cleared. Mr Narasimhan called GHMC commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy and appreciated the quick response.
