Bengaluru: Doctors at Victoria Hospital urged Mayor Manjunath Reddy to construct a link road between Sirsi Circle and the hospital in order to ensure free flow of traffic for ambulances. They stressed that the ambulances were often caught in the gridlock near K.R Market, often resulting in delay in treatment.

The Mayor, who visited the Sirsi Circle flyover on Saturday, inspected the flyover and discussed the feasibility of the project with BBMP engineers. Later, he assured the doctors that the proposal would soon be discussed with the state government. Dog bite: BBMPto foot bill
