Kasargod native killed in bomb blasts in Colombo

Khadar had left Colombo to Dubai where he was working. Raseena\'s father and other relatives are doing business in Sri Lanka since many years.

Kasargod: A woman who was native of Kasargod was among those killed in the series of bomb blasts in Colombo on Easter Sunday. The deceased was identified as P.S. Raseena, 58, of Azad Nagar, Mogral Puthur here. She was killed in the blast at a restaurant that was 20 km away from Colombo.

Raseena and husband Khadar had gone to Sri Lanka 10 days ago for a vacation with the family of her brother Basheer, who is a businessman there. Basheer identified the body of Raseena at the hospital.

Khadar had left Colombo to Dubai where he was working. Raseena's father and other relatives are doing business in Sri Lanka since many years.

The victim was living in Mangaluru and shuttling to Dubai occasionally. Her two children are in United States.
