Hyderabad: A couple travelling on a two- wheeler was hit by an RTC bus from behind on Friday late evening on Raj Bhavan road, killing the bike rider on the spot and critically injuring the pillion rider.
According to the Panjagutta police, the deceased G. Rathna Pratap was an IT employee at Rainbow hospital Banjara Hills and he came to the ADP office to pick up his wife G. Sowmya Raj. An RTC bus of the Ranigunj depot, registration number AP11Z1622, rammed the bike from behind at the bus stand near Ratnadeep on the Raj Bhavan road. The deceased was shifted to Osmania General hospital for a post-mortem examination.
