She was allegedly forced to alight in an isolated place, about 3km after her stop at 9:30 pm.

Wayanad: A woman who was travelling in a KSRTC bus was forced to step down from the bus at an isolated place during Monday night, according to a complaint.

The bus, which was supposed to arrive at 8:30 p.m., was trapped in a traffic block. According to Jasla, even though she had informed 2km ahead of her stop, she was dropped off about 3km after her stop and thereon the employees misbehaved with her.

Jasla has submitted complaints to Mananthavady police station, KSRTC MD and also at the office of District Collector.

The incident occurred despite the law requiring women to be dropped off wherever they want after 6 p.m, she said.
