In a separate case, Syed Yousuf, a resident of Salala in Barkas, is missing in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Hyderabad: Family members of Nakka Bharat Nagendera Manikanta, who had gone missing in Somalia, have sought help from the external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.

The 24-year-old man from Maruteru village in West Godavari has been working with the Westline Ship Management Company as an engine cadet since November 11, 2017.

“We are trying to get in touch with the management of the company but they are not responding positively. We are worried and want urgent help from the government,” said family members.

In a separate case, Syed Yousuf, a resident of Salala in Barkas, is missing in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. He went to Kuala Lumpur on July 6 last year. He said that the agent cheated him and sent him on a tourist visa. “Since October 23, the man is not in touch with his family who has informed the Indian high commission in Kuala Lumpur about it. “Yet, there is no action. We are worried,” the family members said.
