Hyderabad: Chilkalguda residents complain about bad roads and overflowing sewerage lines. Residents said that the GHMC officials have not paid attention to the issue though it was brought to the notice several times.
“Large pools have formed from the water that is overflowing on the road for the last 20 days in a lane near BNR Residency in Chilkalguda,” said Mohammed Ali a local resident.
“We have intimated the GHMC which dug up the road but left it incomplete. We want the digging work to be finished fast and pipeline burst is plugged as soon as possible,” says Noor Manzil, another resident.
Asked about the conditions in Secunderabad’s Chilkalguda area, both GHMC and HMWSSB officials disowned responsibility and passed the buck on to other agencies.
