Hyderabad High Court: Corporate colleges, sanders smugglers same

Hence, students were committing suicide and moreover the colleges were collecting huge fees and violating the norms.

Hyderabad: Pointing out that the corporate sector had taken over the education wing in the state, the Hyderabad High Court observed that the best industries which were thriving were red sanders, illegal mining and educational institutions and said that these were the three major commercial operations which are taking place nowadays. The Court clubbed the education sector in the same boat with the illegal red sanders industry and mining.

A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice T.B.N. Radhakrishnan and Justice S.V. Bhatt issued notices to the Telangana Special chief secretary, Education Department, commissioner, Collegiate Education and Intermediate Education, directing them to respond to the plea that the students pursuing education in Narayana and Chaitanya educational institutions were subjected to tremendous stress and strain and the management of the institutions were subjecting the students to long hours of study.

Hence, students were committing suicide and moreover the colleges were collecting huge fees and violating the norms.
