HYDERABAD: Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya has urged the Centre to release a one-time grant of Rs 175 crore to Osmania University that holds its centenary celebrations next year. He submitted a memorandum to HRD minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday. He said steps should be taken to improve the infrastructure in one of the biggest state universities in the country.
