Sex slavery: Woman blames husband

All sexual encounters were filmed and her husband and his family used the films to use her as a sex slave.

BENGALURU: A married woman has lodged a complaint against her husband for forcing her to have sex with him along with multiple female sex partners. She has also named four women sex partners and family members of her husband in the complaint.

Tulsi (name changed) appealed to the police to take action against these people for cheating, sexual harassment, adultery, harassment, criminal intimidation, blackmailing for divorce and threat to life for the last one year.

Tulsi married the accused in 2012 at Dharmasthala after falling in love and dating for three years. But after the marriage, her husband started treating her like a slave and she was asked to give all her earnings to him. “I was sexually abused along with other female sex partners. Two women used to join him in such sexual activity. When they lost contact, my husband brought another woman. He used to have sex with her and the other woman. The woman then started bringing along her married sister who had a son. My husband forced me to join them,” Tulsi stated in her complaint.

She managed to escape from the clutches of her husband, but was unable to come out of the mental trauma for over a year. She changed her identity and mobile number to evade detection.

After meeting social workers, she gathered courage and decided to file complaint with the police. “I have undergone hunger and sleepless nights because of sexual exploitation. I was not spared of sexual harassment even when I had my periods. I was forced to have unnatural sex and sex with multiple partners,” she alleged.

Tulsi had to undergo abortion because of an abnormal pregnancy. All sexual encounters were filmed and her husband and his family used the films to use her as a sex slave, she stated in the complaint.

“I have horrid tales of my sexual harassment with my husband. I don’t want any woman to suffer like me and that is the reason I have filed the complaint,” she stated.

Though the complaint was lodged at one of the all-woman police stations in the city, no action has been taken against the accused as she is from an economically weaker background, Tulsi alleged.

Social workers who are supporting the victim are planning to approach Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao to appeal for early action against the accused.
