Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police has imposed traffic restrictions from Maitrivanam to Yousufguda Basthi to facilitate work on Metro Rail. The restrictions will be in place from April 19 to April 28.
General traffic from Ameerpet, Punjagutta and Satyam Theatre and going towards Yousufguda will be allowed at Maitrivanam Jn towards Saradhi Studio lane to go to Yousufguda. As the traffic will be slow from Saradhi Studios to Yousufguda Basthi the general traffic is advised to take alternative routes to avoid congestion in the stretch during the peak hours.
The traffic diversion will be made only for RTC and private buses and other heavy vehicles. RTC and private buses and heavy vehicles will be diverted at Maitrivanam junction towards SR Nagar junction, Vengal Rao Nagar, Kalyannagar, Sai Baba temple, Krishnakanth Park, GHMC office to Yousufguda Basthi. The following bus routes will be diverted at Maitrivanam junctionL 19Y/F, 10H, 10Y/F, 19S/F, 113Y/F, 45A, 47F, 47K.
