Vijayawada: Staff of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) and corporators gathered on Friday to celebrate Kartika Vanasamaradhana. The programme started at 10 am at Kotturu Tadepalli Pinnamraju Trimurthy Raju Garden where the civic staff and corporators participated in the programme and celebrated the event in a friendly atmosphere. Mayor Koneru Sridhar expressed his pleasure to see the staff and the corporators coming together in one place. He expressed the hope that such events would motivate friendly relations among them.
Commissioner J. Nivas said this programme was organised on the direction of the Chief Minister. The mayor and the commissioner danced with the staff on the dais and inspired them a lot. Corporator Mrs Punya Seela sang songs and entertained the audience at the event. Mimicry and orchestra were conducted by Sunshine Event organisation for entertainment and to inspire participants to sing and dance.
