Power struggles within the corporation are making its working difficult. There have been several criticisms against it posted on social media also. According to sources, some of the directors in the corporation expressed their dissatisfaction against the chairman and also lodged a complaint to the government in camera.

Sources said, the state government incorporated the corporation aiming towards the development and welfare of the weaker and marginalised sections of the Brahmin community. It was supposed to serve the needy members of the community in a selfless and inspirational manner by providing financial, intellectual and physical resources for their overall development which includes education, skill building, entrepreneurship, welfare and value-based cultural life, on a sustainable basis.

The corporation was also supposed to inculcate a sense of belonging to the community by improving cohesiveness, morale and pride. Initially, the schemes were implemented properly, but, later, there were some disturbances due to delaying in the sanctioning of funds and internal rivalry amongst some members.
Though the academic year is about to be concluded in a month, many students have not got their stipends as yet. It is alleged that some of the members who were involved in the misuse of funds previously have been taken into the corporation. Now, some of the directors have their eyes trained on the chairman’s post by using their political contacts.

However, the Corporation chairman Vemuri Ananda Suri said that the corporation is functioning in a transparent manner. He said that the corporation has provided benefits under various schemes to 44,7000 Brahmins in two-and-half years, but for the past seven and half years, after assuming charge as the chairman, 43,000 more people have been benefitted. He said that Rs 50 crore worth of benefits were distributed and Rs 10 crore had been given to the Brahmin cooperative society. However, he said that it is a curse for the corporation that criticisms was being done. by some of the power mongers in social media. He said that any member of the Corporation or community can verify records or make an inquiry into the functioning of the Corporation affairs. He said that he was committed to the Telugu Desam and the Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu to develop the party as well as the community. He said that every Brahmin should economically develop with the help of the Corporation and this was his motto.
