K T Rama Rao trolled for tweeting Hyderabad got 500 per cent more rain

Hyderabad received 248.3 mm rainfall from October 1 to 16 against the average of 55.8 mm.

Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao got trolled on Twitter after he said that Hyderabad had 500 per cent more rainfall. Mr Rao’s tweet read, “Just dint want to inundate all with info like how we received 500 percent more rain etc, time to act, not talk more, will start soon with works (sic).” He was responding to Twitter user Vivek@hivivekhere who said, “ KTR has stopped tweeting on Hyderabad roads, true leader will never run away from problems, instead you should face it, make plans and share progress (sic).”

Suresh Kumar Reddy D@suri483 wrote back, “Please get your facts right, its not 500 percent, it is 59 percent and you have been saying about the works from the last three monsoons and no results (sic).” Diganta_bhaduri said, “one zero extra, typo, if it was 500 percent, Hyderabad would be India’s first man-made landlocked ocean”. For the record, Hyderabad received 248.3 mm rainfall from October 1 to 16 against the average of 55.8 mm, which is 345 per cent excess.
