Hyderabad welcomes Prakash Yatra from Lahore

The welcome was near Kandlaykoya Oxygen Park, CMR Group of Institutions, Kand-lakoya, Medchal, ORR Junction.

Hyderabad: The Guru Nanak Prakash Yatra from Lahore got a rousing reception on arrival in Hyderabad on Monday.

The yatra arrived in Nizamabad via Nagpur and was received by thousands of Telangana Sikhs who showered petals and flowers on the holy saroop from Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of the first Sikh master. The welcome was near Kandlaykoya Oxygen Park, CMR Group of Institutions, Kand-lakoya, Medchal, ORR Junction. The yatra then passed through ORR road and and arrived at Pillar Number 143 on PVNR Expressway, Attapur, Rajendranagar. From there, a procession called Nagar Kirtan of Palki Saheb, Sri Nishan Saheb, of all the gurudwara sahebs of Telangana was taken out from Attapur to Gurudwara Saheb, Barambala, Sikh Chawniat, Attapur at around 9 pm.

The historic International Nagar Kirtan of Sri Guru Nanak Prakash Yatra was taken out as part of the 550th Birth anniversary celebrations of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak Devji.
