Kalaburagi: Four members of a family were found hanging at Saraswati Godown locality here on Saturday night.

The victims have been identified as Shrikanth Kamlapurkar (56), who is a water diviner, his wife Dhanashree (50), son Chetan (21) and daughter Sakshi (17).

On Saturday evening the neighbours sensed something amiss as the family members were not seen outside their house and the milk packets supplied in the morning were lying uncollected at their doorstep.

They alerted the relatives who rushed to the spot.

Later the police broke open the door and found Shrikanth and his family hanging in different rooms.

Although the family has left behind a death note, it has blamed no one for their extreme step. They have asked the police to donate their bodies to a medical college for its use.

Shrikanth, a BSc agri graduate, was also involved in share trading business and his wife was a supervisor at a private borewell company here. Chetan, who passed B Com recently, was undergoing coaching for CA course.
