Hyderabad: Following the backlash from citizens , Cyberabad traffic police retracted the traffic diversions implemented the day before at Hitech city to facilitate Metro train reversal. They successfully conducted the trial run to understand the impact of diversions and identified certain issues on Monday.
The trial run was conducted between 2 pm and 3 pm on Monday to understand the impact on traffic. Cyberabad Traffic DCP Vijay Kumar said, “Lemon tree hotel lane was made one way and a trial run was successfully conducted. However, we encountered difficulty at CII junction and Hitec city junction. We are working on them on how to make them congestion-free. It is leading to stranding of vehicles.
We are working on the issues for 2 to 3 days and on Saturday, we are planning again to conduct the trial run.”Mr Kumar requests everyone to understand the traffic diversion plan and to plan their journey.
