Bengaluru: Two days after Deputy Inspector General of Police (Prisons) D Roopa Moudgil claimed in her report that large scale irregularities were being carried out inside the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail, including rampant drug consumption, a set of videos showing the jail inmates allegedly taking drugs, consuming alcohol and buying cigarettes has gone viral.
The videos, which substantiate Ms Moudgil’s claims, show jail inmates gambling and consuming alcohol. In one of the videos, the inmates are seen buying cigarettes and drugs from outsiders.
