Telangana: Sandra Venkata Veeraiah stages dharna at Tahsil office

Khammam: Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah staged dharna at Kallur tahsil office to protest against the officials’ attitude in issuing cheques to the beneficiaries of Kalyana Lakshmi. Mr Veeraiah said that the officials were harassing beneficiaries by asking them to come to their office several times though they submitted all the forms necessary for it. He said that the government sanctioned money under Kalyana Lakshmi to 90 beneficiaries 45 days back, but the officials are not giving cheques to them. At one stage, he said that he would not leave the place till the officials issued cheques to them.
