Anantapur: YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy carried out on with praja sankalpa yatra at home-turf of Paritala family, Rapthadu Assembly segment, targeted mainly on faction politics. Though many other segments in Kurnool and Anantapur districts were covered during month-long Praia Sankalpa Yatra, Rapthadu witnessed peculiar following allegations on faction politics by the YSRC chief.
Scathing attacks by Telugu Desam cadre including minister Paritala Sunitha has been witnessed during on-going Praja Sankalpa Yatra. While the Congress and even the YSRC could not make their presence felt during late Paritala Ravi’s term for the past two decades, the YSRC chief padayatra appeared to concentrate on strengthening party for upcoming general polls.
“I am ready to sacrifice everything to see Jagan as Chief Minister,” thopudurthi. Prakash Reddy said during public meeting. He lashed out at Paritala Sunitha and her men over encouraging faction politics in the constituency. The leader of Opposition alleged that Paritala Sunitha failed to complete even a single poll promise in her segment and was involved in corrupt practices.Responding to challenges thrown by YSR Congress district in-charge T. Prakash Reddy, minister Paritala Sunitha said that public doesn’t trust Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
