Visakhapatnam: The Human Motion Analytics allow companies to capture motion behaviour of their employees. It can be used to provide important insights about employee’s behaviour to improve operational efficiency and also increase safety at the office and create a situational awareness and compliance among its employees. To understand the technology, AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation in association with 10 Degrees, USA held a technical session at Hotel Daspalla on Thursday.
“Most importantly, these services facilitate a new level of worker safety. The fatal impact of these accidents could be reduced by knowing more about workers behaviour inside the office,” said Ritesh Patel, who was representing 10 Degrees during the presentation.
Underscoring the need for human motion analysis for real-time location, Mr K. Kumar Raja, Vice-President, AP Chambers said, motion data generates the next level of worker safety by providing real-time location alerts, micro-fencing and the human context information from near-miss and man down incidents.
Adding further, M. Sudhir, Vice Chairman, AP Chambers, Visakhapatnam said, technology has evolved over a period of time to minimise the employee fatality with worker safety dashboards and real time location based alerts and thereby improving the efficiency levels to an all time high. The seminar witnessed active participation from sectors like engineering, retail, health care, oil and Petroleum, pharmaceuticals, IT industry, ports and logistics.
