HYDERABAD: Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company (SPDCL) bagged four ICC (Indian Chamber of Commerce) — Sixth innovation with impact awards 2018.
SPDCL bagged 1st place in innovation with impact award for its excellent performance across the categories of Green grid, quality of service, efficient distribution operation. It also stands in 1st place under the category of Green grid awards for its achievements in promotion and integration of renewable energy and implementation of energy efficiency initiatives. Under the category of quality of service SPDCL bagged the award for its initiatives related to improvement in customer satisfaction, consumer friendly bill payment system, improvement in service standard since last three years.
Under the category of Efficient distribution operation award also bagged by SPDCL for its performance in improving operational efficiency parameters like reduction in transformers failures, reduction of distribution losses, power factor improvement initiatives. SPDCL Chairman and Managing Director G Raghuma Reddy has received the awards during ICC 12th India energy summit held at Delhi on Wednesday.
