Telangan: 7 share first rank in Class XII boards with 99.5%

The school recorded 100 per cent results.

Hyderabad: Kritika Agarwal of Gitanjali School, Begumpet, has topped Telangana state with 97.8 per cent in ICSE Class X exam, with 98.5 percent in best of five subjects.

Anisha Mansingh of the school topped the commerce section with 97.6 per cent in ISC Class XII, and Amritha Immaneni topped the science section with 97 per cent.

The school recorded 100 per cent results. Principal Maya Sukumaran said more than 50 per cent students secured distinction. She said student Manveen Kaur, despite not being well, scored 479 out of 500. The council gave her extra time to complete the papers.

Girls outperformed boys in the ICSE Class XII exam. The pass percentage among girls was 98.95 compared to 98.15 for boys; seven students shared the first rank with a score of 99.5 per cent.

Nasr School secured 100 per cent results in ICSE Class X, and and 99 per cent in Class XII. Ananya Guru Sangameshwar topped Class XII in the school with 97.75 per cent and Kalidindi Medhal Class X 98 with per cent.

Mohammed Abdul Rahman Ali scored 100 per cent in maths, and K Prabhas Srinivas 100 per cent in environmental application. Nasr School principal Mir Mohiuddin Mohammed congratulated the students for the results.

Johnson Grammar School too scored 100 per cent passes. In all, 74 students secured above 90 per cent in ICSE Class X and three in Class XI. Another 353 students secured distinction in Class X and 54 in Class XII.

Geervani Srinivas Joshi topped the science stream at Sri Aurobindo International School and Darsh Gupta the commerce stream. Niraj Public School secured 100 per cent results in ICSE Class 10. Of the 66 students who appeared for the exams, 57 got distinction while nine got first class. Anshul Akhilesh Madurwar topped with 98 per cent.
