Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy criticises Chandrababu Naidu over luring Opposition leaders

The leader of the Opposition blamed the ruling party for provoking faction politics in the villages in Rayalaseema region.

ANANTAPUR: YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy continued tirades against the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over encouraging his party cadres to eliminate Opposition party leaders for political mileage. Recalling over murders of Bhumireddy Prasad Reddy at Rapthadu Tahasildar office in Prasannayapalli and single window president Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy at Appecherla in Peddavadugur mandal, the leader of the Opposition blamed ruling party for provoking faction politics in the villages.

Mr Reddy continued day 33 of his praja sankalpa yatra from Chinnampalli cross road in Rapthadu Assembly constituency which was represented by minister Paritala Sunitha. The yatra passed through outskirts of Anantapur. Referring to series of instances against YSRC leaders and cadres, the Opposition leader blamed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu behind the episodes.

A group of NRIs extended support to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra on the occasion. The NRI team observed that the Rayalaseema was in clutches of drought but no proper steps were initiated by the government. They appreciated Mr Reddy for involving them to know their problems at ground level.
