Oxford University press' yearly book cites University of Hyderabad work

HYDERABAD: The standard globally referenced compilation The Year's Work in English Studies 2018 published by Oxford University Press, has three citations from the Department of English, University of Hyderabad (UoH).

These publications are by the University of Hyderabad two Professors Prof. Pramod K. Nayar and Prof. Anna Kurian from Department of English.

The three citations are from Prof. Pramod K. Nayar’s book ‘Autobiogenography: Genomes and Life Writing’ and The Forms of History: This Side, That Side, Graphic Narrative and the Partitions of the Indian Subcontinent’ and Prof. Anna Kurian’s book A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Stolen Generation’ (American Notes and Queries).

The Year’s Work in English Studies is the qualitative narrative bibliographical review of scholarly work on English language and literatures written in English.
It is the largest and most comprehensive work of its kind and the oldest evaluative work of literary criticism. The Year’s Work in English Studies also provides expert, critical commentary supplied for every book covered.
