KOCHI: The International Pepper Community (IPC) and All India Spices Exports Forum(AISEF) have given shape to a personalized mobile application for pepper farmers aimed at better management of their crop and marketing of the produce. The app will be launched at a function on 14th November here.

The app would directly connect the framers with agri-research institutions, government and its agencies and the national and international markets. The farmers would get guidance on pepper farm practices, fertilizer recommendations, pest and other diseases identification and resolving them. The app would also guide the farmer through price movements and assist them selling their produce, Mr. Prakash Namboodiri said.

The app, developed by Corbel Business Applications Pvt. Ltd for both Android and iPhones, is now available in English, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada.
