Hassan: While asking the BJP government to expedite flood-relief work to rehabilitate the affected people, former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy on Monday took a jibe at CM B.S. Yediyurappa requesting him to stop the 'bidding' which is allegedly happening in the appointment of officers in the departments of revenue, public works and others.
“If appointments happen in this manner, then how can quality work be expected from these officers?” he wondered and quipped, “bidding for posts is happening even before the state cabinet has been formed.” He said during his 14-month tenure as CM, his office was never converted into a ‘business destination’ for posting of officers on the basis of ‘bids’.
