437 students graduate from IIIT-Hyderabad

The gold medal for academic excellence was given to Gautam Vepa, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in absentia.

Hyderabad: International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) conducted its sixteenth convocation on Saturday. A total of 473 students graduated including 16 PhD scholars. There were 134 under graduates, 231 postgraduates and 108 MSIT( Master of Science in Information Technology) programme students. The gold medal for academic excellence was given to Gautam Vepa, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in absentia.  The graduating class had secured hundred per cent placement. G. V. Prasad, CEO of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, presided as the chief guest.
