Japanese team visits Andhra University for collaboration

A two-member Japanese team visited Andhra University on Tuesday.

Visakhapatnam: A two-member Japanese team visited Andhra University on Tuesday to explore collaboration with the varsity to get their students trained in the areas of computer sciences, management, English communication skills.

Kazushi Asai of Namasthe Japan Corporation and Tatsuhko Hoshino of International Education Industry Consultant held discussions with AU interim V-C, Prof. E.A. Narayana, Registrar Prof. V. Umamaheswara Rao, AU Engineering College principal Prof. P.S. Avadhani, Chemistry HoD Prof. Raghubabu and others. Later, they visited the Japan Information and Study Centre in the university and expressed their happiness over promotion of Japanese language and culture through the centre. Dr. Anand Thakur of Stanford English Academy accompanied the team.
