Air India flight to Kolkata failed to take off as scheduled.
Air India has been facing financial troubles for over a decade.
Hyderabad: About 120 passengers were stranded at the Rajiv Gandhi Inter-national Airport as an Air India flight to Kolkata failed to take off as scheduled. The airlines management informed the passengers that there was a technical problem in the aircraft and it would take time for the flight to take off. The passengers protested as the delay got prolonged. The flight finally took off 5 hours behind schedule.
Air India staff said there was a technical problem in the aircraft. Safety of passengers is top most priority and the flight could not take off until the technical problem was fixed, the staff added saying that the flight has finally departed.
