Kochi: Former chief minister Oommen Chandy on Thursday appeared before the Solar Judicial Commission and claimed that he heard about Saritha and Team Solar only after her arrest in the cheating case. Mr Chandy appeared before the commission for the third time and answered queries made by his opposite parties.
Interestingly, the submission made by Mr Chandy is in contrary with the submissions made by Biju Radhakrishnan. Biju had earlier claimed that he met with CM and held discussion when Mr Chandy was in power.
He told them that he was aware of the sexual assault complaint of Saritha against former MP Abdullakutty. He was cross examined last on December 23. He had denied all the allegations then. Saritha's counsel may cross examine Mr Chandy as per the law.
