Bengaluru: Mahatma Gandhi, Yitzak Rabin legacies remembered

The discussion was organised by the Israel Consulate of South India.

Bengaluru: Israeli Consul General Dana Kursh luaded the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin in their respective countries.

“Our people, here in India and back home in Israel, are enjoying the freedom that our democracies provide us, but bear also the responsibility to follow the legacy of these two leaders who united us this evening: Gandhi and Rabin,” she said while taking part in a panel discussion ‘Role of Leadership in pursuit of Peace’ in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The discussion was organised by the Israel Consulate of South India. The discussion shed light on the legacy of two leaders, Mahatma Gandhi and Israeli PM Yitzhak Rabin and how we can learn from these leaders and educate the coming generations.
